Intro to Breastfeeding
We've all heard it: "Breastfeeding is the most natural way to feed your baby, but that doesn't mean it comes naturally!". The idea of breastfeeding may seem difficult and daunting, but with the education and preparation that this course provides, you will be ready to begin your breastfeeding journey with confidence! In this private course we will discuss health benefits, what to expect at different stages of breastfeeding, pumping, milk storage, positioning and latch, common challenges and much more. The ideal time to take this course is between 24-36 weeks. Partners and support persons are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Initial Lactation Consultation
Breastfeeding challenges are common, and can occur for even the most experienced breastfeeding mothers. In an initial consultation, a thorough evaluation will include a review of both infant and maternal health and birth histories, exams of infant oral anatomy, mother's breast anatomy, and observation of a full feeding session. Whether you are experiencing an acute concern, or want to ensure you are off to successful start, this consultation will help to address any issues, discuss common challenges, and prepare you and your baby to have a positive breastfeeding experience and reach your individual breastfeeding goals.
After the visit you will receive a visit summary and customized feeding plan. A visit summary will also be sent to your pediatrician.

Follow-Up Lactation Consultation
Sometimes an additional visit is necessary to follow up on progress, address new concerns, or monitor your baby's growth. In this appointment I'll assess your baby's evolving needs, and develop an updated feeding plan based on my assessment.
An updated feeding plan and visit summary will be sent to you after the visit. A visit summary will also be sent to your pediatrician.
Cost: $200

Back to Work Consultation
Going back to work presents a new stage in your breastfeeding goals, and with it, new considerations to take into account. In this consultation we will discuss pumping techniques, output expectations, milk storage and warming, bottle feeding methods, and how to create a positive pumping plan with your employer.
After the visit you will receive a visit summary, and a return to work plan, customized to your specific circumstances.
Cost: $175

"One Quick Question" Phone Call or Video Chat
A question is quick to ask, it's the answer that takes time. In this option I will chat with you about your questions or concerns, and offer advice and guidance that is appropriate to your specific situation.
After the visit you will receive a visit summary of our conversation, including links to any additional resources that may be appropriate. If you decide to schedule a consultation at the conclusion of this appointment, the fee will be lowered to $25 and deducted from the consultation fee.
